Alyntra Group is the management and consultancy layer across utilities, rail and civil infrastructure — commercial control, workforce compliance and HSEQ, backed by technology we built for the job.
That's what Alyntra fixes — the management layer between contract award and successful delivery, across every sector we operate in.
Four things that
make the difference.
Most problems on infrastructure contracts are management problems. Here's what sets Alyntra apart.
Grounded in the field, not just the office.
Our team holds PTS, OLEC, CSCS and plant operator cards. Site experience isn't background colour — it's what makes the difference between advice that works and advice that doesn't survive contact with a live job.
Audit-ready isn't a promise. It's how we work.
Every record, training matrix and compliance document is maintained current by default — not prepared under pressure the week before an inspection. Because the inspection doesn't always give notice.
The software is ours. Not licensed, not guessed at.
UtiliGuard and RailGuard are Alyntra-owned platforms built by people who manage compliance for a living. Every module reflects how the job actually runs, not how a software house imagined it might.
One layer. The full contract lifecycle.
Commercial management, workforce compliance and HSEQ delivered through a single management firm. From contract award to final account — nothing falls down the gap between departments.
We sit between the client and the workforce — and that's where the value is.

Alyntra Group is not a contractor. We are the management and consultancy firm between the client and the crew — commercial rigour, compliance documentation and HSEQ assurance that turns a contract into a completed delivery.
Our people hold PTS, OLEC, CSCS and plant operator backgrounds. Our advice is grounded in what happens on a live site, not just what reads well in a proposal document.
Audit-ready is not a slogan. It is how we keep records by default, every day, on every project — because the inspection doesn't always give notice.
Six disciplines.
One standard.
Everything we produce holds up under audit — by the client, the regulator, or the principal contractor. That isn't optional in the sectors we operate in.
Frameworks, subcontracts, valuations, variations and final accounts — managed end-to-end. Every risk flagged before it becomes a cost. Every pound tracked from tender to close-out.
Training matrices, competency records and certification expiry managed across full crews. Sentinel-mapped and audit-ready — maintained live, not rebuilt under pressure before an inspection.
Reinstatement, excavation and distribution operations across electricity, gas and water. From individual work order to multi-year framework programme — grounded in real DNO experience.
Safety-critical competence management and fatigue risk for rail workers. Planned to the rules. Documented to the standard. Managed by people who understand what those rules mean on a live possession.
TTM design, TTRO management and pricing for works on the live highway — coordinated between the authority, the client and the crew. On time, on specification, on the right side of the regulations.
RAMS, safe systems of work, COSHH and policy documentation written to be used on site — not filed and forgotten. Practical safety management, properly recorded, audit-ready from day one.
Real schemes.
Real ground.
Most contractors show you a stock photo of a man in a hi-vis. We'll show you the programme — what is running right now, where it is and what the scope actually is. If you know the work, you'll know what you're looking at. Another 26,000 m sits under current works.
Pre-qualified, so you don't have to be.
Alyntra holds Constructionline Gold, assessed against the Common Assessment Standard. That's the pre-qualification most principal contractors ask for before you get near a site — and working through our network means the scheme sits with us, not with you.
Open fell, village footway,
live carriageway.
Our own site record photography — not a stock library. Two schemes, three sets of conditions: 3,200 m across open fell dug to 1,100 mm cover in agricultural land, and a 33 kV route through Ulverston where the footway stays walkable, the depth is staffed before anything is backfilled, and the lane runs single file until the surface goes back down permanent.

We specialise in every aspect of contract work. Come to us for two men and a van on a Tuesday, or hand over a scheme end to end and get it back energised. Most of our subcontractors start at one end of this and move along it.
Labour supply
Ticketed operatives into your gangs, vetted and compliance-checked before they set foot on site.
Supervised gangs
A full crew with our own supervision, RAMS and plant, working to your programme.
Work packages
A defined section priced, managed and measured by us — excavation, installation or reinstatement.
Turnkey delivery
Excavation to energisation — survey, permits, traffic management, ducting, jointing, testing and reinstatement.
Built because
we needed it.
UtiliGuard and RailGuard are Alyntra-owned platforms — not licensed, not white-labelled. Built by people who manage compliance for a living, so every module reflects how the job actually runs.
A multi-module compliance platform keeping a full workforce auditable — from individual operative records and certification tracking to live fatigue management on safety-critical works.
A dedicated FRMS built around how rail shifts actually run — door-to-door hours, rest period tracking and live exceedance alerts, with a Day View designed for real planning pressure.
Where we work.
DNO frameworks and reinstatement programmes across electricity, gas and water distribution. From individual work orders to multi-year term contracts, managed to network operator standard throughout.
Safety-critical workforce management, competence assurance and fatigue risk for rail infrastructure works. Managed to the standard the railway demands — documented to prove it at any point.
Asphalt reinstatement, permanent highway works and traffic management on the live road network. Technically correct, commercially managed and coordinated with the authority from the start.
Groundworks, civils packages and the commercial management that keeps them on programme and on budget. Subcontract framework to final account — managed end-to-end, nothing left loose.
Two ways in.
Bring your gang.
Keep your name on it.
- Onboarding through UtiliGuard — one submission, not a fortnight of email chains
- Continuity of work across a three-year framework, not job-to-job scraps
- 30-day payment terms — held, not negotiated down after the fact
- A named contact who has actually stood in a hole, not a portal
Get on site.
Stay on site.
- Your tickets tracked and renewed before they lapse and cost you a shift
- Fatigue managed properly through RailGuard — rosters that respect the limits
- Site paperwork from your phone at the cabin, done before you're off site
- Work across power, rail and traffic management — not stuck on one ticket
Send your tickets and insurances. If the paperwork stacks up you'll hear back inside the hour — not next week.
Standard subcontractor terms, held. Applications come off the same records as the job, so they don't sit in query.
UtiliGuard and RailGuard are ours. Onboarding, tickets, RAMS, fatigue and timesheets run through software we can change when a ganger asks.
